Engagement Photos

My oldest daughter asked me to take her engagement photos. I created a Pinterest Board (?!, really) of photos that I liked. Many of the pose ideas that I have came from taking my kids' Senior Pictures. Below is a list of the types of photos that I planned to take, first based on other samples that I found, then based on my previous Senior Picture experience:

  1. Eyes/looking (try a variety for many poses below)
    • Both looking at the camera
    • One person looking at the camera
    • The other person looking at the camera
    • Both looking off into the distance
  2. Groom hugging bride from behind, engagement ring visible
  3. Shot from behind, groom and bride looking straight
  4. Shot from behind, groom and bride looking to the side
  5. Groom's back/head with bride's hands and ring showing
  6. Bride kicks leg out
  7. Holding hands and walking (away, toward, from the side)
  8. Kiss on the cheek
  9. Kiss on the lips (yikes)
  10. Bride peaking over groom's shoulder, engagement ring visible
  11. Locations
    • Country road
    • Fence
    • Field
    • Tall grass
    • Tree
    • Park
    • Steps
    • Lake/pond
    • Railroad track
    • Gravel road
    • Gravel trail
    • Grass path
    • Big colorful door
    • City lights
    • Her yard/neighborhood
