2020GibraltarRack

Gibraltar Rack (2020)

I'm a percussionist that likes playing a LOT of cymbals but I'm also a neat freak. I accumulated 11 cymbal stands on my kit which made it look a little bit cluttered. Insert the solution, a Gibraltar GCS-450C Road Series Chrome 4-post Drum Rack - Curved. The MSRP: $759.99 but in the land of music, that's not what anyone pays. Sweetwater has it on sale often at $423.99. I got mine from Musician's Friend for $360.39 (I've got a guy that I buy most of my music stuff from; if you buy music stuff much, you should get a guy too (or gal)). After getting all of the boom arms and clamps the rack actually cost me $762, so it wasn't cheap, but let me tell you it looks nice and it is ROCK SOLID. My church bought the Gibraltar GCS-400C Road Series Chrome Drum Rack With Side Wings - Curved for around $300 plus clamps and boom arms, with a total cost of around $500. I have more cymbals and wanted to go with the bigger rack for the home studio. Anyway, now I have 11 cymbal stands to sell. ;-) Oh, and Gibraltar was really slow in getting it to Musician's Friend (Sweetwater was out of stock too). It only took 4 months to arrive. Yikes. Check out some before and after pictures below:
