Goal: Welcome and learn what makes a website "good"

• Flipped Classroom - Flip teaching is a form of blended learning in which students learn new content online by watching video lectures, usually at home. What used to be homework (assigned problems) is now done in class with teachers offering more personalized guidance and interaction with students, instead of lecturing. Our lectures were provided by Artie Kuhn.

  • What was just plain wrong with the site?
  • What websites have you visited recently, and why?
  • How does the goal of a website affect it's design?
  • What did you notice in terms of color schemes, menuing systems, and overall feel of the site?
  • Is the site multi-browser and multi-device compatible?
  • How & when are they expecting the site to be used?
• Divide yourself up into groups of 3 or 4 for the On Your Own 2 research.
