Sweet Potato Casserole by Aunt Kim (Downey)

Ingredients

• 1 lb. sweet potatoes, cooked
• 1 1/2 cups white sugar
• 2 eggs, well beaten
• 1 cup milk
• 1/4 tsp. Nutmeg
• 1/2 tsp. Cinnamon

• Topping:
• 1/2 cup butter, melted
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 3/4 cup corn flake crumbs
• 1/2 cup nuts

Directions

• Mash potatoes and mix all ingredients, except topping ingredients.
• Pour into buttered 8"x8" pan
• Bake 45 minutes at 350.
• For topping, mix first 3 ingredients.
• Pour over top and spread evenly.
• Top with nuts and bake for 15 more minutes.
