Pork Tenderloin by Grandma (Karen) Oller

Ingredients

• Pork Loin (allow 1/3 lb. per person)
• 2 Tbsp. oil
• Course ground pepper
• salt
• thyme
• garlic powder

Notes

Grandma always cooked some type of pork on New Year's Day because it was good luck.

Directions

• Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
• Heat oil in skillet or dutch oven.
• Season meat to taste.
• Brown pork on all sides.
• Place browned meat in a roasting pan.
• Insert meat thermometer.
• Bake uncovered until thermometer reaches 160 degrees.
• Remove from oven.
• Cover with aluminum foil and let stand for 15 minutes before serving.
