Pork Roast by Aunt Kim (Downey)

Ingredients

• 2 - 3 lb. Pork Roast
• Salt
• White Pepper
• Garlic Powder
• Flour
• 2 Tbsp. Vegetable Oil
• 1 Cup Water
• 1 Medium Onion, diced
• 1 Tbsp. Cilantro
• ½ Tsp. Crushed Red Pepper
• Salt and Pepper

Directions

• Trim the fat off the roast.
• Sprinkle the entire roast with salt, pepper and garlic powder, then flour.
• Brown roast on all sides in oil.
• Put the roast in a crock pot.
• In the pan you browned the roast in, add water, onion and other spices.
• Mix 2 more cups of water and some flour, then add to the pan.
• Pour the mixture over the roast.
• Cook the roast on low in the crock pot for 8 hours.
