Pecan Pie by Great Grandma (Marie) Oller

Ingredients

• 3 eggs, slightly beaten
• 1 cup light or dark corn syrup
• 1 cup sugar
• 2 tablespoons butter, melted
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 1/2 cups pecans
• 1 refrigerated pie crust

Notes

Grandma Oller used to make her own pie crust. I regret never learning from her how to make one.

Yields

8 servings

Directions

• In large bowl, stir eggs, corn syrup, sugar, butter and vanilla until well blended.
• Stir in pecans.
• Pour into pie crust.
• Bake in preheated 350 degree oven 50-55 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean.
