Mincemeat by Great Grandma (Marie) Oller

Ingredients

• 2 cups cooked roast beef, ground (NOT ground beef)
• 2 cups ground apples
• 1 cup raisins
• 1/4-1/2 c. Sugar (depending on tartness of apples)
• 1 tsp. Salt
• 1 tsp. Cinnamon
• 1/2 tsp. Each of cloves, nutmeg, allspice
• Apple juice or apple cider (If apples aren't juicy enough)
• Vinegar (Sometimes, if apples aren't very tart, put in just a little vinegar.)

Notes

I remember eating mincemeat pies at my grandma's house on holidays.
