French Toast by Mom (Pam Hopkins)

Ingredients

• Stale bread or buns
• 2 eggs
• milk
• 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, optional
• Cooking spray

• Toppings:
• Syrup
• Powdered Sugar
• Fruit
• Cinnamon Sugar

Notes

A quick, easy way to use up stale bread!

Directions

• Beat eggs and add enough milk to get the consistency of thick cream.
• Add cinnamon if desired; mix well.
• Dip each slice of bread in egg mixture to coat well.
• Preheat non-stick griddle or pan; spray with cooking spray.
• Cook coated bread to desired brownness.
• Serve with desired toppings.
