Chicken Stock by Mom (Pam Hopkins)

Ingredients

• Chicken bones, skin and leftovers
• 2 stalks celery
• 2 cloves garlic
• Herbs (I like sage and rosemary)
• 1 onion
• Salt and pepper

• water

Notes

Chicken stock is great for making soups.

Directions

• Place all ingredients in a large pot.
• Cover with water and bring to a boil.
• Reduce heat and simmer 1-2 hours.
• Add salt and pepper to taste.
• Drain stock through a colander and place in freezer containers.
